The iconic Spiegeltent returns to Brisbane and takes up residence in the Twilight Electric precinct as part of Brisbane Festival’s early event program 2022. The Spiegeltent has a long history with Brisbane Festival as the home of Strut & Fret productions: Feasting on Flesh (2008), A Company of Strangers (2009), Cantina (2010), Dream Menagerie (2011), LIMBO (2013), Blanc de Blanc – original (2016), LIFE – The Show (2018) and 2019, the QLD premiere of
Blanc de Blanc Encore.
The Spiegeltent (Dutch for “Mirrortent”) originated in Belgium during the late nineteenth century.
With their lavishly carved wooden interiors that were covered in mirrors, their stained-glass windows, velvet and brocade upholstered seating booths and their old-style bars, spiegeltents reveal the decadence of an era long gone.
In 2022, we welcome The Victoria Spiegeltent to the banks of the Brisbane river for the ultimate five-star night-out.

Q. WHAT PARKING IS AVAILABLE?
A. The best parking for Maritime Green is Dock B Parking located at 92 MacArthur Avenue, Hamilton. Please allow plenty of time to locate parking and an easy 5 minute walk to the venue. Friday and Saturday nights can be particularly busy, there are traffic assistants to help if you need.
Q. WHAT HOURS IS TWILIGHT ELECTRIC OPEN?
A. The Twilight Electric precinct is open one hour before the first performance.
Q. IS TWILIGHT ELECTRIC SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES?
A. Blanc de Blanc Encore is only suitable for audiences 18+. Maho Magic Bar is a licensed venue and evening performances are recommended for mature audiences aged 12+. If you are aged under 18 years you must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The performance may involve adult themes, alcohol use, strobe and haze effects.
Q. WHAT HAPPENS IN WET WEATHER?
A. The Spiegeltent and Maho Magic Bar are enclosed venues, and shows will go ahead in all weather conditions. You may want to bring an umbrella or poncho to keep you dry before the venue is open.
In the unlikely event of cancellation due to severe weather, we will text and email anyone who bought a ticket for that session.
Q. WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE MY BOOKING?
A. For this event self-transfers are enabled on Eventbrite. This allows you to change the date, time or upgrade some or all of your tickets through Eventbrite on your desktop. Q. CAN I MAKE A GROUP BOOKING?
A. Yes, we can help you book groups of any size. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know your approximate numbers and dates so we can provide you with some options.
We take the health and safety of all our guests, performers and crew seriously and follow all Government requirements as well as our own COVID-safe procedures in relation to COVID-19.
Vaccinations are not mandated to attend Blanc de Blanc Encore, however Spiegeltent Management strongly encourages full vaccination and booster shots to stay in line with any QLD Government and Department of Health directives that may arise.
It is a requirement that any guests aged 16+ must be fully vaccinated (as defined by Queensland Health at the time) for COVID-19 to attend Maho Magic Bar and proof of vaccination (or valid medical exemption) must be presented on entry.
In the case of any Government enforced restrictions, the Event Organisers will be guided by the State Government of QLD.
If a Ticket Holder is affected by COVID-19 and is unable to attend, they should contact the Event Organisers as soon as possible prior to the Event to discuss their options. We will work with the ticket holder to find a remedy in the best interests of all parties.
The Event Organisers reserve the right to alter prices, audience capacity or seating arrangements on the advice of Government and State organisations in response to Coronavirus (COVID-19).
In the event of a Coronavirus (COVID-19) related government closure, ticket holders will be contacted via email and presented with options to remedy the cancellation.
Event Organisers will not provide a remedy if:
A ticket holder is denied entry into, or asked to leave the Event for reasons which were disclosed to the ticket holder in the ticket terms and conditions, or conditions of entry at the time of sale. These reasons include (but are not limited to) non-compliance with the COVID-19 Conditions of Entry listed below.
When purchasing Tickets, you agree that you will abide by any government, venue or Event requirements in effect at the time of the Event, including (but not limited to) vaccination, mask wearing and using COVID Safe Check-In.

Vaccinations ARE required to attend Maho Magic Bar. It is a requirement that anyone over 16 years of age must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to attend Maho Magic Bar and proof of vaccination must be presented on entry. This will be checked by the Maho Magic Bar team at the point of entry. Any abuse towards our team will not be tolerated and will result in you being denied access to the Venue.
Maho Magic Bar is only open to customers who are fully vaccinated (as defined by QLD government at the time of the event) or have a valid medical exemption.
We encourage you to download the Check In QLD app and to link your official vaccination certificate or valid medical exemption to the Check In QLD app prior to arriving at the Venue. If you provide evidence of your vaccination status in a form other than via the Check In QLD app, you may experience delayed entry to the Venue.
Whilst attending Spiegeltent Gold Coast you and the members of your group agree that the safety of all patrons is of paramount concern, to follow COVID safe practices as defined QLD Health and clearly signed within Spiegeltent Gold Coast (including but not limited scanning QR Codes for contact tracing, the use of hand sanitiser, maintaining 1.5m social distance), and to follow the directions of Spiegeltent Gold Coast personnel.
If you are attending an Event as part of a group, as the primary ticket purchaser, you are responsible for knowing the contact details of all attendees in your group. In the event you are contacted directly by the Government, including the Department of Health for the purpose of contact tracing, you must:
a) make the contact details of you and your group available and
b) contact each member of your group, and request that they provide their contact details directly to the relevant health authorities.
Event Organisers may require patrons to wear a mask in accordance with any government mandates in place at the time of the Event. It is the patron’s responsibility to provide their own mask.
